what's on your wish list?

My wish list was small this year; I've been feeling completely overwhelmed by all the joy and happiness in my life that I really can't imagine needing anything else.

But because my family drops a a few goodies into each stocking, I gave this little list:

* Luxe City Guides for New York, Chicago, Melbourne and Sydney (all places I'm headed in 2011!)

* Glue refills for my ATG 700 (I can't live without this thing, it makes magic!)

* Anything fromThe Paper Place on Queen West.

I am having an "I can't believe I didn't know..." moment. In November (5 months ago!), my favourite travel booklet editors from Luxe City Guides not only launched their mobile app, but also a new exquisite blog called Luxetasy, dishing on everything from critter cabinets in Paris to Massimo Alba's cashmere creations in Milan.

Let me introduce you to travel's best kept secret... the luxe city guides. Well, they're actually not so secret anymore as these lovely ladies have just launched a beautiful new website that includes their online villa & hotels collection.

The wee pocket books are brilliantly put together with witty quips about hotels, restos, shopping and other nice-and-need-to-know tidbits. I have almost the whole collection and love every little nugget in them!
