{pink thursday...}

On the last Thursday of October, let's celebrate again the courageous women and families fighting breast cancer with these beautiful images of pink origami. Thank you to both Jac of Coco Sunday and Christina of Soul Aperture for this sweet way to support breast cancer awareness month.

{pink thursday...}

Welcome to the most feminine hotel on the Pacific Coast. The long driveway up to Las Alamandas gives the first hint of the property's secluded setting, nestled just off the Costalegre Coast of Mexico on over 1500 acres of tropical land.

Philanthropist and Proprietor, Isabel Goldsmith-Patino, ensures that each of her 35 guests (the maximum at any one time) enjoys the colouful blush of pink at every turn. Over done? Most definitely not.

{pink flamingos!}

After discovering Cassandra C. Jones' wonderfully unique wallpaper via The Drake Hotel, I couldn't resist posting more of these pink flamingo images from her Rara Avis series. She has taken photographs of the retro lawn ornament and composed them brilliantly into these vibrant flowers.

{the sisters...}

My older sis and I were extactic to be wearing vintage 1950's cocktail dresses from Toronto's Cabaret. This is the most exquisite shopping experience you will ever have, owner Tao treats every customer like gold and every item is unique.

A treated us to these beautiful 1920's antique bracelets... Tricky to see, but each one has carvings of a different flower with a hint of sparkle... Mine (left) and A's (middle) are dahlias, and J's (right) are roses.

Thank you A for these most perfect keepsakes!
