{time traveler...}

As an avid traveler, I have to say I don't spend much time considering journeys to the past and future, but how amazing would it be to jump back and visit your significant other when they're little or flash forward and see your unborn children at school?

My favourite parts of Audrey Niffenegger's book The Time Traveler's Wife are when Henry goes back in time to visit Claire when she's a little girl and the movie (that i just saw last night!) portrayed these moments beautifully. I would love to whisk back 25 years and meet C as a little boy... What would you do if you could time travel?

  1. Hi Kristi, thanks for always visiting me on my little blog. Butter-fingers me wanted to click "publish" when I saw your comment but clicked on "reject" instead. I have yet to read your suggestions for the locations even :( And it's such a shame because I know this is right down your alley. Hope that you'll post again.

    I also want to say thanks for also listing me in your blogroll. I'm flattered!

  2. I loved this book and cried SO hard, but was disappointed w/ the movie. I loved the characters and actors though- I think they weren't able to do justice to the story line.

    If I could time travel, I'd def want to go back to when my parents were young/growing up and also when they dated/before they got married. I'd love to see some famous events too (ie Princess Diana's wedding and Woodstock!).

  3. It sounds like a great book, and looks like a fun movie! I love Rachel McAdams too! If I could travel, I definitely would visit J as a boy!
