With the Toronto International Film Festival just coming to an end, I thought I would take this week to share with you the best of this city's hotels!
Let me take you today to my favourite - The Gladstone.
This small boutique hotel is located in one of Toronto's most eclectic neighbourhoods - Queen West. Each suite is designed by a different artist and the hotel's huge, bright corridors and foyés often host art shows, fundraisers and even concerts.
Love this chandelier wrapped in Indian fabric in Room 306 "The Urban Voyager" - created by Koma Designs...
... the warm glow and yellow headboard of Room 304 "Faux Naturelle" by Allyson Mitchell...
... the simple yet intricate design of Room 406 "EL-E-MEN-TAL" by Rob Southcott...
... and of course this awesome touch of canadiana in Room 404 "Canadiana" by The Big Stuff and Jenny Francis...
This is the front café. The huge stained glass wndows bring it a lovely light and the brunch is delicious!
Queen West shopping tip: don't miss Made You Look just a few blocks west of The Gladstone - beautiful one-of-a-kind jewlery by Toronto designers...
