As I may have mentioned before, I'm not one for fashion. I also tend to get a little sleepy-eyed during the Oscars, but I watch every year to choose that handful of gowns that I love.
It seems a pity that these dresses may never appear again, so I've paired them with a pretty hotel should they ever decide to travel ;)
I'm thinking Demi's Versace would be perfect at the Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest.
And Sandra's Marchesa glittery gown seems meant for the Hotel de Paris' Louis XV dining room in Monte Carlo. (Did I mention my brush with Prince Albert at the Olympics?!)
And can't you just see Rachel McAdams' Elie Saab gown floating through the grounds of the Chateau de Massillan?

ReplyDeleteI missed the Oscar's this year, but I have been enjoying reading up on all the fabulous 'red carpet' creations etc since.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite dress is that of Demi. I have no idea how she manages to stay so amazingly young and fresh looking (without the obvious injected aids of some of her peers..). She is stunning and is probably one in a million who can rock that 'nude' colour.
